It was real dark as the new departure time is 4:30 and off we with 20 kph trades blowing headed to my favorite buoy. At the buoy we baited and the first bait Scot put in got bit in less than a minute and John was the angler. He got it to the boat in about 20 minutes and aboard it came. The next hookup was bigger and Jason is the angler he got an ahi that weighed in at 117, great fight he did great landing this one. Thenwe had a big ono on but it pulled off the hook. One small shibi and one more 36 pounder and  a great day was in the bag. These folks were great to have aboard and we have a new top angler for tuna. Aloha Capt Rusty

In the dark off we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. At the buoy we baited and Scot hooked a 60 pounder that Brock landed. Next hookup and Mark is in the chair and he lands our first ahi of the year a nice 107 pounder good going new top angler for ahi. Next we get a 40 and a 30, these folks did great on all these fish today, they were a real pleasure to have aboard. Aloha Capt Rusty

At first light off we go on this day of 15-25 trades going to my favorite buoy. At the buoy we baited and hooked a 40 pounder on our first pass and got it. the next one was a 60 pounder that Dan landed. Two more singles and we get them both. Good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Off we go right on time on this day of 15-25 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. Along the way we got 2 mahi on the ledge. At the buoy we baited and Sot was hooking some big 72 pound size shibi and Mary with some help from Scot did a great job reeling the first big one to the boat and we got it. A few smaller ones and another big one that Tim lands it in about 20 minutes, was some fun action. Then we get a few small mahi and shibi jigging. On our way in we find a small piece of big rope floating and we get 7 more mahi there it was some great action in the end of the day. These folks were great on all the fish and there was never a dull moment, they were lots of fun to have aboard. Aloha Capt Rusty

At the crack of the dawn off we go on this day of 15 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. At the buoy we jigged and caught 2 small aku and ran one live. When we baited Scot hooked a nice shibi and Jeff landed a 23 pounder. More baiting and jiggig and no more fish so off to the ledge we go. There we baited and had an ono hookup and it threw the hook after a few seconds, bummer. These folks were fun to have aboard, good going, and this is Jeff's second trip with us. Aloha Capt Rusty

It was dark as we got going on this day of 10 kph trades going to a buoy far away. At the buoy we baited and got no hits so we jigged and were geting doubles of these nice size aku and a few shibi. They were at least hungery if not big, making for lots of fun action. These guys did great on what we had going on today, good going men. This makes Eric's 5 th trip with us on share trips, good to see you again. Aloha Capt Rusty

With the darkness we set sail for my favorite buoy with 5-10 kph winds. At the buoy we baited and got a bait chopped off by something and then got no more hits. When we jigged we did not get a bite. So off we go to the ledge there we bait and hook 3 mahi at once and get all three, it was a long day with 15 minutes of great action in the bottom of the ninth and these guys had been patiently waiting all day and did great on these fish when they hit. It was light as we set out on this day of 10-15 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. Along the way we got a papio. At the buoy we jigged and got no hits so we baited and hooked up a 37 pounder and Sean landed it easily. Then we could not get a bite baiting or jigging even though it looked like the fish should bite. These folks did great today. Aloha Capt Rusty

Right on time in the dark off we go on this day of 10 kph winds going to my favorite buoy. At the buoy we baited and took a few hits and got 1 nice size shibi. When we jigged we had 2 hits and missed them both, so outside we go. No shools to find so we end up on the ledge and we get a nice mahi. These folks did good today, the water was the nicest in a month today. Good going. Aloha Capt Rusty
