In the dark we took off going to my next favorite buoy with 20 kph trades blowing. Along the way we took an ono hit and Aspen landed a nice ono. At the buoy we baited but got no hits so we jigged and caught a bunch of small aku and shibi, it was good action with some doubles. Then we went to another buoy but no action there. Good going.   Aloha Capt Rusty

Right on time off we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. At the buoy we baited and Scot was hooking nice size shibi every pass and these folks were cranking them in one after another. Then we jigged and the big ones were still biting good and we landed a bunch more this way, it was fun action and they were great jiggers, some screaming reels we had going on. These folks fish alot back in Alaska and really do love to fish and it showed today. It was a real pleasure to have you guys aboard, hope to see you again. Aloha Capt Rusty

With a bit of lightning in the far distance we took off with 20 + kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. At the buoy we jigged but got no hits so we baited and Scot hooked a mahi and we got it, then a shibi and we got it too. Then we jigged again and started hooking big shibi every pass, it was hot action, these guys were doing great jigging up these nice fish and then landing them. They loved to fish and it showed. On our way in we took an ono slam on the rigger that cut off one of Scot's favorite ahi lures then went back and ate the center and we got it. Closer in we had another ono slam but it got away at gaff, bummer. These guys did super today  it was rough and they all held on great good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

As we pulled out on this day of 25 kph trades with lightening in the distance going to my next favorite buoy. Along the way we got a nice onoAt the buoy we baited and had a hard time seeing the buoy due to the heavy thundershowers that were blasting us for the longest time, but we were hooking nice size shibi in the pouring rain with thunder and lightening all around us. After awhile the rain stopped and the wind did too and the fish were still biting so we were getting doubles any where in the buoy area. When we baited again Dave hooked up and landed a nice mahi. It was a wild day of extreams all around good going guys. Aloha Capt Rusty

At the buoy we baited and hooked a few small mahi and some nice size shibi too. Then we got a big 33 pound bully on and Dan landed it too. It was some wild action on an equally wild ocean with big seas and high winds. These folks did great good going guys. Aloha Capt Rusty

When we baited scot was hooking some nice size shibi and Fred landed a nice 30 pounder. When  we jigged Fred jigged up a nice 20 pounder too. Then we set up and trolled to another buoy, there we took a mahi hit and baited up one more, the big bully must have been foul hooked as it was spinning all the way to the boat where it came off just out of reach bummer. Scot did bait up one more mahi there and we got it. These folks did great today on all these fish, great to have you aboard. Aloha Capt Rusty
