We left the harbor right on time in 15-25 kph trades.  We headed out to our secret spot.  On the way, our center came down and fish on! Cody jumped in the chair and reeled in a 20 pound ono.  We found a bird pile and hooked a small yellowfin tuna,  Bruce reeled it in from the pole holder, then it was back to trolling for bigger yellowfin.  A little later, our outrigger came down and it took a lot of line.  We saw it jump and it was a marlin.  Kristin hopped in the chair and 20 minutes later had a 110 pound marlin onboard.  Alright!  On the way home our corner took off with a nice ono.  Bruce jumped in the chair and battled in a 27 pound ono.  Great fishing everyone!  Hope to see you again.  Aloha, Scot, Hunter, and Captain Steve

We left the harbor a little after first light in 15-25 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy, trolled by, but no action.  We tried running bait and jigging, but nothing was biting.  We trolled down the ledge and our corner took a strike.  We landed a 15 pound mahimahi.  No other bites on the way to the harbor, but our group will be eating well the next couple nights.  Aloha, Hunter & Captain Steve

We left the harbor at first light in 15-25 kph trades.  We headed down to the point and hooked an ono.  Trevor jumped in the chair and reeled in a 20 pound ono.  We baited on the ledge and had a hammerhead shark try to grab our bait.  We teased him by reeling then stopping, and keeping the bait in his face.  When he got 15 feet from the boat, we took his toy away.  No other action on the way to the harbor.  Not a huge catch, but our group will be eating well the next 3-4 days.   It was a pleasure having you onboard and look forward to fishing with you again.  Aloha Scot & Captain Steve

We left the harbor right at 5:30 am in 20-25 kph trades.  On our way out, we hooked an ono, then another ono, and a mahimahi.  We landed them all.  We got to the buoy, baited up and missed our first two strikes.  We started jigging and began getting double hookups of skipjack and yellowfin tuna.  We saw some mahimahi, threw them bait, and hooked one.  We hooked another and landed them both.  We came back and hooked 4 more mahimahi, and landed them all.  We made another pass at the buoy, landed one more mahimahi, then it was time to head home.  No bites on the way to the harbor but we came in with four flags flying.  Great angling men!  It was a pleasure fishing with you again, and look forward to your next trip.  Thank you for the Wisconsin Cheese!  Aloha, Scot & Captain Steve

We left the harbor at first light in 10-20 kph trades.  We headed for a buoy and had a mahimahi grab our outrigger.  It was almost to the boat, when it came off hook and got away.  We came back with bait and hooked up another mahimahi.  Tim jumped in the chair and reeled in a 19 pounder.  We were jigging while baiting and were catching small yellowfin with lots of double hookups.  We had another mahimahi strike, lost it, then hooked another.  Marshall reeled in a 15 pound mahimahi.  We caught another dozen yellowfin, then Viktoria landed a 22 pound mahimahi.  We caught more yellowfin and 6 skipjack tuna.  We threw some of the smallest yellowfin back.  We landed one more mahimahi and a barracuda, then it was time to head home.  No bites on the way to the harbor, but everyone will be eating well tonight.  Hope to see you again.  Aloha Scot and Captain Steve

We left the harbor right on time in 20-25 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy with no bites on the way.  We baited up at the buoy and began jigging.  We took a double strike on bait.  Jennifer jumped in the chair and Bev reeled from the pole holder.  Bev reeled in a 24 pound mahimahi and Jen was still fighting hers.  It ran, took a lot of line and put up a good fight.  Jen won the battle and reeled in a 36.5 pound mahimahi putting her on our top angler scoreboard for 2015.  Way to go!  We kept resetting baits and landing mahimahi.  It was hot mahi action with little time for jigging.  We did jig up two small yellowfin.  Everyone caught a couple mahimahi, then it was time to head in.  Right outside the harbor, our center came down and we had a mahimahi online.  Russ landed it, we put the lure back out, and hooked an ono.  Marc reeled in a 24 pound ono.  A great end to a super day.  It was nice fishing with you again.  Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve

We left the harbor right at the crack of dawn in 15-25 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy and took a triple on our first pass.  Julie landed the first mahimahi, and Russ landed his shortly after.  We also landed one small yellowfin.  On our next pass we landed another small yellowfin.  We cleared the trolling lines and put out baits.  We saw a mahimahi swim by, threw him a bait, and he took it.  Bev jumped in the chair and reeled in a mahimahi.  We were jigging while baiting and were catching small yellowfin, one after another.  Then both baits took mahimahi strikes.  Rich and Blaine each landed nice size mahimahi.  We caught more yellowfin and four skipjack tuna.  Then we hooked another mahimahi and Marc reeled it in.  It was steady action all day and everyone did a great job reeling.  It was a super fun day and we look forward to fishing with you again.  Aloha, Scot & Captain Steve
