Christopher Steiner, Kathleen Steiner, Patrick Steiner, & Hugh Steiner caught 12 mahimahi
We left the harbor early, in 10-20 kph trades, and headed to a buoy. We came in with bait and started hooking mahimahi one after another. At one point we had four on at the same time! It was like a Chinese fire drill, but we landed them all. We kept baiting and catching. Our last bait hooked a 30 pounder and Patrick reeled it in. Out of bait and time to head in. No bites on the way home, but these guys caught a dozen mahimahi today. Great fishing everyone! Aloha, Scot, Hunter, & Captain Steve

Stephen Stark, Mason Stark, Stephen Stark II, & Jack Hutson caught 6 mahimahi, 1 yellowfin, 1 ono, & 3 aku
We left the harbor right on time in 10-20 kph trades. We saw some birds on the way to the buoy and found a skipjack tuna pile. We hooked two trolling, and the younger boys reeled them in. We got to the buoy, but nobody home, so we headed to the tuna buoy. We ran bait at the buoy and hooked a 32 pound yellowfin tuna. It put up a good fight, but Jack landed it in a short time. We ran more bait, hooked a mahimahi and Mason reeled in a 15 pounder. We kept running bait and Jack landed a mahimahi. We were chunk baiting too, and Stephen reeled in a nice 16 pound mahimahi. We also jigged up an aku and Jack reeled in a 6 pounder. We ran more bait and took a double mahimahi strike. Jack and Stephen Jr each landed a nice mahi. Alright! We caught one more mahimahi, then set lines and headed in. On the way to the harbor, Jack landed a 15 pound ono. Nice way to end the day. We came in with 4 flags flying. These folk can fish! It was a pleasure having you onboard. Aloha, Scot, Hunter, & Captain Steve

Clinton Noyes, Eric Noyes, Adrian Lee, Devin Noyes, Trevor Lee, & Stephen Noyes caught 1 mahimahi, 4 yellowfin, & 11 aku
We left the harbor right on time in 10-20 kph trades. We headed to a buoy and ran bait. Nothing was biting so we decided to jig. We started catching small yellowfin and skipjack tuna. We caught over a dozen and everyone had fun reeling. We tried chunk bait and hooked a mahimahi and a 30 pound yellowfin. The mahi came off hook and we lost it. Devin landed the yellowfin. On the way home we trolled the wave ball with no bites. We tried again with bait and hooked a mahimahi. Adrian jumped in the chair and was reeling in the mahimahi when we all saw a shark chasing our catch. Adrian reeled fast and landed the fish moments before the shark got it. It was exciting, to say the least. No other bites, but a nice day's catch. It was a pleasure fishing with this fine family. Aloha Scot, Hunter, & Captain Steve.
