Ernesto Camat Jr, Justin Camat, Joseph Beasley IV, & Joseph Beasley III caught 18 Aku and 1 Mahi Mahi
We left the harbor right at daybreak in 10-15 kph trades. We headed out towards a buoy and found an Aku pile on the way. We took a double hit, and landed them both. We made another pass and took another double. Before we had them both in the boat, we had another strike. The Aku kept everyone busy for the rest of the morning. We lost a few, but landed a total of 18 Aku. We caught a small Mahi Mahi on the way in. Great fishing Guys! Aloha Scot and Captain Steve.

We went to another buoy, but no bites. No bites on the way home. Great job guys. Aloha Scot and Captain Steve.

We left the harbor at day break in 10-20 kph trades. We headed for a buoy and caught 2 Skipjack Tuna on the way. At the buoy we hooked a Mahi Mahi, and Sergio battled it in. That fish put up a good fight, but Sergio won. We hooked another Mahi Mahi. Aulelio did a great job at the reel, and landed it. We tried a couple more buoys looking for big Yellowfin, but nobody was home. Hope everyone had a great time. Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve

Sunni, Jenn, Daniel, Becky, & Rachel caught 1 Mahi Mahi
We headed out early in 10-15 kph trades wih moderate seas. We headed to a buoy and hooked a Mahi Mahi. Daniel grabbed the chair and reeled it in pretty quick. We made a few more passes but no bites. It was getting a little rough, so we thought we'd seek out some big Yellowfin tuna on the West side. It was much calmer water, but we didn't find any tuna. No more bites on the way in. We had hoped for more action, but at least these folk will be having a nice Mahi Mahi dinner tonight. Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve

We left the harbor at 5am in 15-25 kph trades, a nice morning. We headed out and hit an open school of Mahi Mahi. We hooked 3 and landed them all. We headed to a buoy, and caught another Mahi Mahi. We had a 2nd bite, but it came off. We were in by 11am since the boys had a rehearsal dinner tonight, Derek being the Groom-to-be. Derek also set a new boat record this year for his 44 pound Mahi Mahi. Nice job guys! We had the top catch of all the charter boats in Haleiwa today. Another great day of fishing on the Kuuloakai. Kane Daniel, Raiden Daniel, Jorge Appedole, and Jeff Daniel caught 1 Mahi Mahi and 1 Yellowfin Tuna
We left the harbor in 10-20 kph trades headed to a buoy. We were trolling for big Yellowfin, but no bites, so we ran some bait and caught a Mahi Mahi. We headed to another buoy and hooked another Mahi Mahi, but lost it. We headed to another buoy and took a strike. It took 500 yards of line, so we knew it was big. 25 minutes later the boys had a 180 pound Yellowfin on the boat. No strikes on the way home. Great job guys! Aloha Scot, and Captain Steve
