We found nothing and took no hits all the way to my favorite buoy. We got going at 4:30 going to my next favorite buoy on this day of 15 kph winds. At the buoy we jigged and caught some small aku after we were bit off 3 times by sharks. We ran and aku live and a shark managed to snag itself in the side and give Chad a fight equal to a good size marlin. We baited and only got shark bites, so we set up and trolled away. We found a huge bird pile but got no hits in it. At another buoy we found it to be dead. On the way in we did our shark show. These folks did great today, good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

We trolled some more then when we slowed down to reel in we had 4 ono hits and only got one a nice big one 33 pounds. We jigged and caught some small aku and ran one live, it got chopped by an ono and did not stick. When we baited nothing came up so we jigged. We had a nice big shibi hook up and we got it minus the tail. We had one more big shibi on but it broke 40 on the run. Andy did good on all these fish. In the harbor Andy gladly ate a shibi eyeball, I like it. Aloha Capt Rusty
