Conrad Kwan, Min Hin Tham, Franklin Heng, and Kwong Tan caught 2 shibi and some smaller kine
We got going at 4:30 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. We had a hit that we got halfway to the boat before the sharks got it on our first pass. Then we jigged and got a few aku away from the sharks. When we baited Scot hooked a few shibi and Min got the biggest one. After the first bait pass we were only getting smaller shibi and an aku or two. So we set up and trolled out away from the buoy. It was a rough windy rainy day today, no hits on the way in. These guys did great on these fish today. In the harbor only Min was game to eat an eyeball, I like it. Good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Jim Quaschnick, Mark Paz, Diane Milner, and Noelle Stevenson caught 1 shark 1 ono 4 shibi and 2 aku
We got going at 4:30 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my old favorite buoy. Not much happening there so we went to my favorite buoy, on the way Diane got to reel in a nice ono. At the buoy we jigged and got an aku and lost one to a shark. We ran a shibi live and it got eaten by a shark in 30 seconds flat. Jim did a good job reeling it in and we tagged it and let it go. We got a nice shibi on light line, then did the secret weapon thing and got a 20 pound shibi and some smaller ones. When we baited we got one shibi and lost one and then they shut off. No hits on the way in. In the harbor every one except Noelle indulged in eyeballs. These folks did great today. Aloha Capt Rusty

Matt Foster, and Mickey Henwood Caught 1 shark 1 mahi and some aku and shibi
We got going at 4:30 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. No hits trolling so we jigged and managed to get one aku away from the sharks out of 2. The sharks were the most agressive and numerous I have ever seen at the buoy. There was a pack of at least 6 that followed us around, so it was no problem to get one on for Matt to fight. The one we hooked was a big one, about 8 feet, we tagged it and let it go. Then we trolled on to a different buoy, where we saw a small mahi, We came back with bait and Scot hooked it up and Matt reeled it in before the sharks got it. We got a few more shibi here too. No hits on the way in. These folks did great on this kind of rough day, good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

Murray Speirsk, Chris Davies, Mackenzie Kitching, and Craig Kitching caught 1 shark
We got going at 5:45 on this day of 20 kph trades going to the south-west side of town. No hits at the bouy so we jigged and lost an aku to the sharks. So we put out a dead aku and 4 sharks swarmed on it and we got the most aggressive one on. Chris got to reel it in and we tagged it and let it go. We went back to hook one more and they did not go for it a second time. So we set up and trolled up, but Scot only got one lure set and it came down with an ahi that screamed 200 yards of line out and then came off, bummer I hate it when that happens. These guys did great on this rough day, good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Chris and Eric Moore caught 5 mahi 3 ono 5 shibi and 1 shark for a great day
We got going at 5:00 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. We caught a small aku on our first pass, then we jigged and put out a small aku live. The sharks were all over it, but we did not let them eat that one cuse it was not on a wire. We got a shark on and tagged it and let it go. Then we went to the secret weapons and the shibi were blasting them. Chris jigged up the biggest one a 37 pounder, and we somehow got it past the sharks. Then on the way in we took a double mahi ono and got them both. We went back and found a log floating and baited up 4 more mahi and trolled up an ono. It was some wild action for awhile. Then just outside the harbor we got one more ono. In the harbor only Chris was bold enough to eat an eyeball out of an ono, I like it. These were some great to fish with people, they did great with all these fish, and handeled the rough seas we had today, good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

Bobby Stewart, Michael Stewart, and Daniel Stewart caught 2 sharks 3 big shibi and some aku too
We got going at 5:00 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. We had a nice shibi hit on our first pass but it came off halfway to the boat. Then we jigged and put out a live shibi, it did not take long before a shark ate it and we had it on. We reeled it in and tagged it and let it go. We went to the secret weapons and they were getting hit by shibi every time, but the sharks were hot on the tails of every fish we hooked up. So we set up and trolled to a different buoy where we caught some shibi and ran one live, an ono chopped it in half fast. We baied and Scot hooked a 20 pound shibi and while that was on a shark got hooked in the side and gave Mike a big battle reeling it in, we tagged and let it go. No hits on the way in . These guys did great reeling in these fish keeping them away from the sharks. Good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Nate Valentine, Brad Carlson, Wayne Smead, and Chuck Stevens caught 1 shark 3 nice shibi and some aku and shibi
We got going at 4:30 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. No hits at the buoy so we went to my next favorite buoy, we took a triple shibi and got one and a shark ate one and we lost the lure. When we jigged we lost a few to sharks, then we put a live shibi out and it got eaten in seconds flat. We reeled it in and tagged it and let it go. When we baited we were getting some small shibi. Then we tryed our secret weapon and got a 10 pound shibi. It was hard to keep the sharks from eating our fish. On our last pass we got a 40 pounder and a 20 pounder. On the way in we had a mahi hit but it came off. In the harbor only Brad was bold enough to try an eyeball out of a big shibi. These guys did good on all these fish to day, it was a rough day too. We got going at 5:00 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. No hits so we jigged and lost every aku we hooked to the sharks. When we baited Scot got some small shibi, and we ran one live. Before long we had a shark on and we tagged and released it. More baiting and a few more shibi and one more shark came along and we tagged it too. These guys did great considering how rough and windy it was today. Bak in the harbor no eyes were consumed. Kyke and Jami Berra caught 1 mahi 1 ono 1 shark and some aku and shibi.
We got going at 4:00 on this day of 20 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. We took a triple shibi first pass at the buoy and only one stayed on and we got it. Second pass we got a nice mahi, jami reeled in that one. We put out 2 live aku and before long a ono chopped one in half. Next aku got rushed by a shark, and scot hooked it up, then kyle reeled it in fast and we tagged it and let it go. On our way in Kyle landed a nice 27 pound ono on the ledge. These folks did real good in the rough seas we had today, good going. In the harbor only Kyle was up for an eyeball. Aloha Capt Rusty
