In the dark off we go on this day of 15 kph trades going to a far away buoy. Along the way we took an ono hit but it came off, another lure was chopped but never slamed down. At the buoy we had a small mahi grab the corner lure but it came off too. Then when we baited a shark bit off our bait. Next hookup is a nice shibi but the shark eats everything but the head. So we jigged and caught some real small aku and ran 2 live. Before long something chopped them in half. So out goes the wire leaders and the next aku out hooks a big 32 pound barracuda that Sara reels in and we get it. More baiting but no hits so we jig more and get a small shibi. These folks were a pleasure to have on board good going you did great today. Aloha Capt Rusty
