We left the harbor a little after daybreak in light 10-20 kph trades.  Half way to the buoy we got a blind Mahi Mahi strike, and Robert reeled in a nice 25 pounder.  At the buoy we caught two Mahi Mahi trolling.  We baited up and caught four more Mahi Mahi.  It was a half day charter, so we headed in.  We caught two Yellowfin Tuna on our way home.  Nice fishing everyone!  Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve

We left the harbor at 5:30 am.  A beautiful day with 5-15 kph variable trades.  We headed to a buoy and caught nine Skipjack Tuna (Aku).  We headed to another buoy and caught one more Aku.  We headed out and found a cargo net.  We hooked and landed an Ono.  Then we hooked a Mahi Mahi trolling but it came off right at the back of the boat.  We baited up and started catching Mahi Mahi.  We caught 19 Mahi Mahi, and one more Ono.  Then we set up to troll, took a triple Yellowfin Tuna strike, and landed all three.  On the way home we saw whales, caught one more Aku, and saw a nice sunset.  It was a VERY long day.  Great fishing everyone!  Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve

We left the harbor in the dark in 10-15 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy and hooked a Mahi Mahi right away.  Dwight reeled in a nice 18 pounder.  We chunk baited and caught a few Skipjack Tuna.  We started jigging and caught a few more Skipjack Tuna and two Yellowfin Tuna.  No bites on the way in, but still a great day of fishing.  Aloha Scot and Captain Steve

We headed out in the dark in 15-20 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy with no strikes on the way.  We baited up and hooked a Yellowfin Tuna.  It put up a good fight, but Joey hung in there and landed a nice 35 pounder.  Tammi also battled a nice size Yellowfin all the way to the boat. Then it made a big run, snapped the swivel, and came off.  Tammi shook it off and landed a fat Skipjack Tuna moments later.  We baited up and caught a Mahi Mahi.  Steve did a great job battling this 27 pounder.  We jigged and caught eight more Skipjack Tuna and five more Yellowfin Tuna.  No other bites, but a good days catch, and a great day of fishing.  Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve

We left the harbor at 5:40 am in 15-20 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy and caught one Skipjack Tuna (Aku) trolling by.  Our first Yellowfin Tuna got eaten by a shark, but we did catch four, and lost another nice sized one right at the back of the boat.  We also caught two Aku, but a shark ate half of one.  We headed to another buoy, saw some porpoise, and caught a Mahi Mahi.  We baited some more, but no other bites.  No strikes on the way in.  Sorry we missed getting a group shot with the total catch before everyone scattered.  It was a pleasure fishing with you all.  Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve
