With 20 kph trades blowing off we go heading for my next favorite buoy. At the buoy we bait and hook a few mahi right away and land 2. Then we jigged and caught some small aku and shibi and ran one live. More baiting and Scot hookes a few more mahi and they come aboard. On our way in we find an open school and get 3 more out of it. These guys did great today good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

Greggory and Thomas Markham caught 2 mahi for a fun day and a new year to date record mahi at 53 popunds
With trades of 20+ off we go to my next favorite buoy. At the buoy we baited and Scot hooks a small mahi, and puts out another bait and it hooks a big bully that Greg landed on 80, it was a spectacular fight lots of jumping, and he did it all right, our biggest of the year so far 53 pounds, good going. We caught a few small aku and that was it for the day, one mahi that size can make your day though. In the harbor only Greggory was bold enough to eat a mahi eyeball gladly. Good going it was a great day. Aloha Capt Rusty

The story goes someting like this, our server was sold new owners screwed it all up, we went to another server and they were not much better, so after lots of frustration and almost 2 months at least I can post again, still not getting any email though, so if you want to book something please call me till it works again. I would like to thank all of you who have found a way to book in spite of it all and those who have called just to see if we were all right, thanks. Aloha Capt Rusty

Scot and William Kittelberger caught 9 shibi and 4 aku for a few fish today
It was rainy but calm as we set out with 10 kph variable winds going to my next favorite buoy. At the buoy we took a triple small shibi on our first pass and got 2. We came back with bait got no hits so we jigged and caught some shibi and aku and ran a shibi live. No big hits so off to another buoy. There we jigged and caught aku and shibi and ran an aku live. Will did great with what we could hook him up with today, good going. We did see some whales in the distance today. Aloha Capt Rusty

Thomas Crosby, Gregory Crosby, William Kittleberger and Stanley Kajiyama caught 4 mahi 3 shibi and 1 aku for a fun time today
It was still dark as we pulled out on this day of 15+ kph nw winds going to my next favorite buoy. There we took a single mahi hit and landed a nice one. When we came back with bait Scot hooked a shibi and we got it. Then we jigged and caught a few small shibi and an aku. It slowed so we set up and trolled to another buoy. Where we baited and hooked a mahi and landed it. One more mahi hooks up and comes aboard. On our way in we had a mahi hit the center and in the boat it came. Good going guys. In the harbor only Greg was bold enough to eat a mahi eyeball, without hesitation, I like it. Aloha Capt Rusty
