Dave Chow, Ryan Bosch, Mike Somers caught 3 mahi and 1 aku for a fun day of fishing today
It was very dark as we took off on this day of 20 kph trades going to a west side buoy. At the buoy we jigged and caught 1 aku. Then we went to another buoy and nothing there so we kept going. One open school of mahi and we get 2 nice ones out of it. Then one more mahi at a buoy where we have a big marlin come in and get all excited around our aku but it would not eat it, we were all excited too but it swam away and never came back. These guys did great today good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Laurine and Jim Brothers caught 1 mahi for a fun day
It was dark as we set out on this day of 20 kph trades going to my old favorite buoy. On our first pass we hooked a nice mahi and Jim landed it. We came back with bait but got no bites, so we set up and trolled to the ledge. There we baited but only had a small barracuda look at our baits. We did have a whale come close for a good whale show, they are few and far between now. These folks did great today. Aloha Capt Rusty

At first light off we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to my old favorite buoy. At the buoy we bait and Scot hooks a mahi and Dayna lands a nice one. Then on out we go, we find an open school and Scot baits up 2 more after one slams the center and we get them all. Next school and we get 3 more to go and get them all. Then we go back to the birds and find a small net floating but only get 2 more there, and Dayna gets a nice ono there too. Theses folks did great today, this is their second time with us and the fish seem to like them alot. Back in the harbor all the guys ate mahi eyeballs gladly, good going men, always great to have you on board. Aloha Capt Rusty

It was a rainy mornig as we took off with 20 kph trades going to my old favorite buoy. Nobody home at the buoy so we keep going outside. We fine a big aku school but get no bites in it. Then we find a mahi school under 1 bird and we hook one mahi and Chan lands it. We found another big aku school but no hits for us. We did see some whales on the way in, and the brown water from all the rain went out 6 miles. These folks did great today, good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

It was the calmest day in weeks with 20 kph trades headed to my old favorite buoy. Nothing at the buoy so we keep going outside, we found some junk schools of mahi at first but then hit some good ones. We had some schools where we got 4 or 5 out of a school it was some wild action. Steves big bully went 30 pounds and he caught it on a tiagra 30 that was an epic battle. These folks did great landing all these fish today, good going guys. Aloha Capt Rusty
