It was a calm morning with 15 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. Along the way we took an ono hit and Larry landed it. At the buoy we took a mahi hit and Hannah put it in the boat. When Scot baited he hooked something big and Kimmy reeled it in and it turned into a shark, she got all the way to the boat before it broke line. Next pass and Scot got 2 big shibi on and we landed both of them. Then it was one or two a pass every pass, it was some great action, lots of screaming reels going off. These folks did great on all these fish, you guys were real solid today. In the harbor only Larry was bold enough to eat an ono eyeball good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

We got going at the right time on this day of 25 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. When we baited Scot hooked a nice shibi on the first pass and Titto reeled in a big shibi head. Next pass Greg landed a shibi that got nibbled on by a shark. Then Titto got one that managed to avoid the sharks. One more and it shut off for us so we set up and trolled outside. We ended up at another buoy but nothing there for us. These guys did real good today, good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Departing on schedule on this nday of 15 kph trades going to my next favorite buoy. On our second pass we took a double mahi shibi but the mahi came off and we got a small shibi. Then we jigged and caught some small aku and one big  shibi and ran a shibi live. When we baited Scot hooked a nice big shibi and Jimmy reeled it in, as it came close a small marlin showed up and looked at our shibi on the rigger but did not try to eat it. The next pass another big shibi and the marlin follows us again, it was just teasing us it seemed. We trolled outside and only found small aku today. These guys did great today, good going. In the harbor Alen was the bold one to eat a shibi eyeball gladly, I like it.  Aloha Capt Rusty
