We left the harbor right on time in 10-20 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy and caught a small Yellowfin tuna.  We jigged around and caught three more.  Then we baited up and caught a Mahi Mahi.  Dinner just got better!  We tried a couple more buoys, but no other bites.  It was another beautiful day on the Kuuloa Kai.  Aloha, Scot & Captain Steve

We left the harbor in the dark in 10-15 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy and caught an Aku on our first pass  We came back with bait ad got a double Ahi hookup.  Joe landed them both.  The Ahi kept biting and Joe kept reeling, without missing a beat.  We were in search of Marlin today, but not unhappy with these big Yellowfin Tuna.  It was a pleasure fishing with such a solid angler.  Hope to see you onboard again!  Aloha, Scot & Captain Steve

We left the harbor at daybreak in light variable winds, and headed to a buoy.  We had a bite but it didn't stick.  No other bites so we headed to our next buoy.  We hooked and landed a ten pound Yellowfin Tuna.  We started jigging and caught 5 Skipjack Tuna.  Then we headed out looking for bigger game.  We caught 6 more Skipjack Tuna, one weighing 20 pounds.  Elyse Baty is on this year's scoreboard with her Aku, beating the previous record by 2 pounds.  Way to go Elyse!  We headed in, and caught one Mahi Mahi on the way.  It was a very nice day.  Good fishing guys!  Aloha, Scot and Captain Steve.

We left the harbor right on time in 10-20 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy, took one strike, baited up, and hooked another. Trevor and Jerry each landed a Mahi Mahi  We took another pass and hooked another Mahi.  Trevor reeled in a nice 20 pounder.  A few more passes and we hooked another Mahi.  Jerry reeled it in.  Nothing else biting, so we headed to another buoy.  At the next buoy we baited up and caught 2 more Mahi Mahi.   No bites on the way in, but it was a lovely day.  Great fishing guys!  Aloha Scot & Captain Steve

We left the harbor before it got light.  A very wet morning with 15-20 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy and took a hit on the way, but it didn't stick.  At the buoy we caught a dozen small Yellowfin Tuna, and two Skipjack Tuna (Aku).  Some of the Yellowfin were small, so we let them go.  We headed to another buoy.  On the way we hooked an Ono, and Harlan reeled it in.   At the buoy we baited up and caught a Mahi Mahi.  We also hooked something big, but it wrapped around the buoy and came off.  Then we jigged around and caught our second Ono of the day, and more small Yellowfin Tuna.  No bites on the way in, but at least the weather cleared.  Today we got to watch three generations fish together.  Good catch guys!  Aloha, Scot & Captain Steve

We left the harbor right at daybreak in 5-15 kph trades.  We headed to a buoy and hooked four Mahi Mahi.  We looked over and saw a cargo net.  We baited up and got three strikes on the next pass, which led to a steady stream of solid hookups.  We did loose a few, but caught one 27 pound Mahi and a dozen more averaging 14-16 pounds.  Great catch for a half day charter.  We're all eating Mahi Mahi tonight!  Aloha, Scot & Captain Steve
