It was still dark as we got going on this day of 25 kph trades. Out in the middle of nowhere we took a five banger shibi and aku and got 2 shibi and 4 aku. No signs of bird life anywhere we went today. A few whales and some porpoise was all we saw. Then in the bottom of the ninth a big 26 pound mahi slammed the rigger and we got it right outside the harbor. Good going guys you did great today. Aloha Capt Rusty

Right on time with 15 kph trades off we go. On our way out we got a nice 10 pound aku in the blind, and saw some great whale action too. Then we found a open school and got 2 mahi there. There was a mahi slam on the center that came off and another mystery hit too out in the deep. Then on our way in we had a double small shibi and got one and a shark ate the other one and hooked up. Pat was the angler and he reeled that shark all the way to the boat before we took it's picture and let it go, a great battle. These folks did great today it was good to have you aboard. Right on time off we go on this day of 5-10 kph winds going to my next favorite buoy. Nobody home at the buoy so off we go up and out. We find a school of aku and get 4 nice size aku in it at 25 out. We saw whales outside and inside today the most all season it looks like they are back. On our way in we baited on the ledge outside sunset and got a mahi there. We also made a close pass on the Vans World cup of surfing at sunset, They got a shot of us riding a swell on the outer reef, it made it look like the wave as going to get us but it was only a swell. If you are interested that was during heat 12 of the second day  on line or on the surf channel, It was some picture perfect waves. Good going men it was good to have you aboard. Aloha Capt Rusty

Then something big hooked up and Mike did battle with it for 20 minutes before it boke line, it may have been a shark we could not tell for sure as it was still 60 feet down when it broke. Then a big school of porpoise showed up and the party was over. These folks did great today, good going on your fish. Aloha Capt Rusty
