Donna Caraway, Chad Bull, Mike Seely, Blake Ashcraft, Natasha Bull and Eric Bull caught 21 and 1/4 shibi and 1 shark for an action packed
We were underway on time on this day of 15 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. Arriving we baited and Scot was getting 12 to 15 pounders, then he hooked a big one and Chad made fairly quick work out of it and got it to the boat and he landed it, a nice 68 pounder. Scot kept on hooking shibi and after a while we got another big one on and got it. A shark ate a bait and we managed to reel it all the way to the boat and took its picture and it released itself. The action was steady and Scot hooked 2 more big ones and we got one and lost one. These guys did great on all these fish, good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Devon Duval caught 6 shibi for a great day of fishing
It was raining lightly as we started out on this day of 20 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. Near the buoy we had a small mahi slam the center and jump and come off. At my favorite place we baited and hooked a big shibi and Devon landed it after a battle on 80 pound test. A few more passes and Scot hooks another big shibi on 50 pound test and we had to back and do circles and chase this fish all over the place, but Devon landed this one too, both fish were 70 pounders. Scot hooks a few more smaller shibi and one more big one and we get them all. Devon was a great angler on all those fish, good going. Aloha Capt Rusty

Ken Seidel, Fred Seidel, Henry Reimer, Brennan Reimer and Taylor Seidel caught 7 and 1/2 shibi for a great day of fishing
Around 6:00 we pulled out of the slip on this day of 10 kph winds going to my favorite buoy. When we arrived Scot baited and it took a while but we got one big shibi on and had one more bite and got 2 big ones. Next pass Scot hooked 5 shibi at once and we got them all, it was wild action with 5 fish going all over the place, good thing we had 5 anglers, and they did great on them all. One of those fish got munched by a shark on the way up. Scot baited up one more shibi and it slowed to a stop. Back in the harbor Ken and Fred both gladly ate shibi eyeballs out of the big ones, good going guys.

Mellisa and Luis Reyes caught 19 shibi for a great day of fishing
A little after 6:00 we got moving on this day of 15 kph trades going to my favorite buoy. Half way out we took three striper hits and had one on for a few minutes before it jumped and tossed the hook, and one that the lure flew more than half way to the boat. At the buoy we baited and Scot hooked a few mid size shibi, then he hooked a bigger one and Luis got a good work out and we landed it. A few more bait passes and then they slow down a bit only 14 poundres now. Scot then got a few passes where he got 3 on all big, Scot and I had to help out, I got to practice and reeled in a shark and a big shibi. It was some wild action, lots of screaming reels, and Luis was a real tropper he kept on reeling fish after fish, great endurance. Good going you folks did super today. Aloha Capt Rusty

Next pass we got 2 on and then one more big 50 pounder and Anita and Joann tag teamed it and we got it. Then one of our fish turned into a 6 foot shark and Robert got it all the way to the boat and it broke line, like he had before. It was some wild action for a while there and these folks did great reeling all these fish in. These folks spent 2 nights snowed in at the Denver airport on their way here. Scott Texada and Rob Creamer caught 4 shibi and 2 aku for a fun day
At 6 we slid out on this calm day of 5 kph winds going to my favorite buoy. When we got there Scot baited and got a shibi on and had a few more hits and misses. The birds have left the buoy, and only small marks on the sounder, but the shibi still ate a few more baits and we got 3, then we jigged and caught 2 small aku and a small shibi, and ran it live. We got one more shibi jigging to make 4, these guys did great, good going. Back in the harbor only Rob was bold enough to eat a shibi eyeball gladly, good man. Aloha Capt Rusty
