Michael Burket, Eric Johnson, Chris McCall, Joey McCall, Paul Burket and Kyle McCall caught 4 mahi and 14 aku for a fun day of fishing action today
|
Before th sun came up off we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to a buoy. Along the way we took some aku hits in the blind and got a few. Then near the buoy we found some birds and got a bunch more nice size aku in that pile. At the buoy Scot baited up 4 nice size mahi and the guys did great landing them all. The Lee Family caught 2 mahi for some fun today
|
At first light off we go on this day of 15 kph trades going to a buoy. At the buoy Scot baited up one mahi and we got it. Off to another buoy and one more mahi there, with whales along the way. Good going guys. Aloha Capt Rusty

Capt Steve, Judgge Frey, Sam Carnibucci, Aaron Ayyob and Scot caught 9 mahi and 1 aku for a great day of mahi action
|
At first light off we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to a buoy. At the buoy they took a double mahi and baited up 2 more for a great start to the day. When they came back with bait they were hungrey and baited up 5 more nice mahi the biggest one a 28 pound wahine. When they jigged they caught 1 nice size aku. These guys did great on all these fish good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Scot and Jeremy Haseleu and Robert Sanchez caught 6 mahi today for some good fun
|
Right on time off we go headed for a buoy. At the buoy we get one mahi and then go looking outside. At another buoy we took a double and got one mahi and baited up 4 more, it was some hot action on light line. Good going men you did great today. Aloha Capt Rusty

We are back
|
We have been down for the last 2 months replacing our fuel tank on the boat, not an easy job to say the least. Scot and Steve have been working on it and did a great job, I was no help as I have been battling cancer for the last 3 years and it has slowed me down to where I can not spend the day on the boat fishing right now. So Steve is going to be the captain for us from now on. So we are back and fishing again.

Right on time off we go on this day of 20 kph trades going to a buoy. Along the way we had some great whale action with breaches and just whales everywhere. we had a mahi on the way too. The buoy was not so good we had one bite and no hookups so we set up and trolled away. We had a mahi in the bline and we got it and then as we set up again we took a doble striped marlin and managed to hang on to both of them, that made our day. We had one more stike in the blind and got an aku. These guys did great today good going men. Aloha Capt Rusty

Kelly and Karissa Etten caught 8 shibi and saw lots of whales today
|
It was still dark as we set out on this day of 10 kph trades going to a buoy. At the buoy we baited and started hooking shibi right away. Kelly was landing them one after another while Karissa took pictures. It was some fun action. The whales put on a great show both ways today. We did have a mystery strike on the way home but it came off. Good going you guys were fun to have aboard. Aloha Capt Rusty

It was still dark as we got going on this dayof 15 kph trades going to a buoy. At the buoy we baited and Scot was hooking nice size shibi one or 2 a pass. It was fun action and these folks were going great landing fish one after another. On our way in we had some porpoise and whale action along the way it was a great show they put on. In the darkness off we go on this day of 10 kph winds going to a buoy. At the buoy we bait and get no hits so we jigged and catch some small shibi. Then we set up and troll to another buoy. There we bait and start hooking nice size shibi the action was hot with lots of doubles. These folks did great landing all these fish today good going men. The whales are here in full force now and were putting on a great show for us today too.Aloha Capt Rusty

Megan and Randy Sroka caught 6 shibi for a fun day of tuna action
|
Right on time off we go on this day of 10 kph trades going to a buoy. Along our way out we had whale breach real close and we all got to see it great show. At the buoy we baited and it was a slow bite but they were hooking up and Randy and Megan landed some nice shibi. On our way in we found a big japanese buoy, first of the tusmami debis we have found. Then a big metal buoy 6 feet across and 10 feet down in the water but no fish on it. Good going you folks did great today. Aloha Capt Rusty
